Rosolini (Italy), a small town near Pozzallo, SE of Sicily. The tombstones of unknown migrants died in the Mediterranean Sea. No names, buried alone in a foreign country, just a number to indicate your past existence. I decided to use this picture to symbolise deaths at sea. I think death is a key aspect of migration, omitted or accounted for in cold blood.
